TRIPURA GOVERMENT TO BUILD REPLICAS OF 51 SHAKTI PEETHAS

Tripura kingdom authorities has come with a design to construct replicas of revered fifty one Shakti Peethas in the district of Gomati. For the purpose, the kingdom has already allotted 14.22 acres of land at Fulkumari Mouja in Udaipur sub-division of Gomati district.

Apparently, there are fifty one Shakti Peethas, which are scattered throughout India and neighbouring countries. Most of these are in India, whilst six are in Bangladesh, three in Nepal, two in Pakistan, one every in Tibet and Srilanka. In India, eleven Shakti Peethas are in West Bengal by myself whilst others are dotted all over the country.
